Breast Enhancements: What’s Going On In The Mind Of a Woman?
The other day my mother and I were having a discussion while folding laundry, about breast enhancements.
Why are women getting them? How the heck did they become so popular? Should they be getting them? Are the women who are getting them trying to hide some other deeply rooted insecurity?
Of course, my mother and I held opposing views, we do in everything else, and this was no exception.
The “right” boob size can even attract more male attention. She went on to talk about how when she was younger, she really wanted larger breast in order to attract more male attention.
She began to tell me when she was in her early 20’s how she wanted bigger breast in order to attract more male attention. My mother went on to explain how boobs are one of the first things people will see and therefore, they make an important impression.
Women want to feel good about the impression they are making. Larger boobs will also attract more male attention.
It is everyone’s own right to do as they wish to themselves, especially if it will make them happy. I do have an opinion on the subject, however.
I think women are in a battle they have been fighting since they were little girls. They have been told, shown and brainwashed on what beauty is, and as result, they are always trying to live up to this standard.
Women should love themselves just as they were created and make their own beauty the standard of beauty, instead of some idea someone else imposed on them.
From the time women are little girls, they are bombarded with all sorts of images, ideas and doctrines on what beauty is. As a result, when a little girl who eventually becomes a woman, doesn’t fit the bill of society’s stipulations of beauty, they are self-conscious and insecure about how they look.
Whatever happened to “I am woman, hear me roar”? Where did all of the self-confidence go to?
My mother believes it isn’t that easy and that a woman’s appearance is connected to her self-esteem.
Back when I a sophomore cheerleader in high school, one of the senior cheerleaders made a joke about how I always walk with my chest out. The joke to her was in the fact that
I laughed too because I had never given a second thought to my breast size, nor did it occur to me that I walked with my chest out. Walking with your chest out is a sign of confidence and I had plenty of that. Now that I look back on it, I realize she couldn’t understand how my level of confidence was so high to the point I would even want stick my small chest out.
Honestly, I’ve never had confidence issues in that area of my life. Guys have always chased me and they still do. So I’m not convinced on the argument of it taking big boobs to attract male attention.
If you are of my mother’s persuasion and want your breasts enhanced, try it naturally first before opting for breast enhancement surgery.
Now, if you agree with my mother and want your breasts enhanced, then good for you. As long as you are safe in doing so and happy, that’s all that ever matters. Try some natural methods of toning them and keeping them looking youthful first.
Some good exercises to try are modified pushups. Also sitting with your chest forward and stomach pulled in is good.
Do that often just for good breast maintenance purposes. Also, moisturize your breasts daily, if you don’t already. I would recommend a good oil such as jojoba oil or almond oil. There are no natural breast enhancement foods, but, if you eat more fruits and vegetables you’ll be healthier over all. If you are going to increase your cup size, you may wish to try breast enhancement supplements.
Eventually, your breast will try to sag and exercise will slow down that process.
Moisturize your bosoms with oils such as almond or jojoba oil. Studies haven’t shown any natural breast enhancement foods yet, but, if you eating more fruits and vegetables will keep you looking beautiful longer.
There are also breast enhancement supplements that can be tried. Finally, imagine your breasts are larger. When you pretend that they are you’ll walk with more confidence and with that, you’ll attract the results you are looking for.
Now, if you are thinking like me on this topic, don’t come down so hard on our fellow women. Women endure enough as I said earlier starting from little girls.
Little girls are attacked young with appearance issues and many times these little girls become women with appearance issues.
Well, rather you are for it or against it; this debate will probably be archived right in there with the “which came first the chicken or the egg” debate.
Remember James Brown’s song, “This is a Man’s World”. There’s one important line women should really take heed to when it says, “This is a man’s world…but would all amount to nothing without a woman or girl”.
